MARTINMAS

The story of a Knight who upon meeting a poor man in the street, offers the man his cloak and lantern so that his path may be warm and alight. This archetypal story spans many cultures and religious traditions as we head into winter darkness and the light each of us carries within becomes even more crucial to share. We spend the season making lanterns for our festival and tie blankets for each other and children in the broader community in need of warmth.
